For all those requesting information on my water feature, I will be doing a mass emailing with relatively small pictures and more detail next week. I am thrilled with the interest. Anyone else wanting to be included just reply to this email me and I will add you to the group emailing.
By the way, recent critters seen drinking - a red fox, rose-breasted grosbeak, another Northern Parula (third one), another Magnolia and Chestnut-sided warblers, dozens of Hermit and Swainson Thrushes, Redstarts, Bay-breasted warbler, turkeys, Wood Ducks, Mallards, Cooper's Hawk, Tennesees, Nashvilles, and other common birds. Species before cranking up the wate feature - common residents and a fwe rare migrants. The common birds still come but seem more impressive in that they are interacting with the flood of migrants now present. They come in waves and the action is fast and last about 20-30 minutes at a pop. Exciting. Ah, mid-May in Minnesota!
