I spent about 2.5 hours birding at General Mills Research Area in Golden Valley this afternoon. The result was 55 species with 16 individual warblers - PINE, CANADA, TENNESSEE, REDSTART, NASHVILLE, PALM, YELLOW-RUMPED, YELLOW, N. WATERTHRUSH, BLACKBURNIAN, BLACK-AND-WHITE, BLACKPOLL, COMMON YELLOWTHROAT, MAGNOLIA, WILSON'S, and CHESTNUT-SIDED. The Warblers were generally pretty easy to find and stuck to the north side of the area and around the main pond.
It's possible that I missed a few species as I was chased out by the rain. Bob Butson Golden Valley ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
