Between 4:45-6:45 PM today, Steve T. and I spotted many warblers along the
south shore of Bennett Lake, which is in Roseville's Central Park. Besides the
ever-popular Am. Redstarts (everywhere), there were several dozen each
Magnolias, Yellow-Rumps and Chestnut-Sideds. Others seen in smaller numbers:
Black and White,Common Yellowthroat, Yellow, Wilson's, Nashville, Tennessee.
Single birds only: N. Waterthrush, N. Parula, Bay-Breasted, Blackpoll,
Blackburnian. The birds were actively feeding and we could have easily missed
others.

The majority of the birds were seen along the paved trail between the Lexington
Ave. parking lot and the foot bridge on the southeast corner of the lake,
although there were small groups near the band shell and the waterfall. Central
Park is just off Lexington Ave. south of county Road C.
