While sitting in my dry, warm living room this morning, having my morning
coffee and watching the rain and wet birds at my feeders, a wave of
warblers came in. I had 9 warbler species in 30 min.; Black and White,
Blackpoll, Yellow, Yellow-rumped, Tennessee, Nashville, Pine, Palm, and
Wilsons.

I also saw 2 Harris's Sparrows and a first for my yard and Beltrami County,
a Northern Cardinal. I have been waiting for one to appear for over 30
years! I know others have seen them up here but it was an exciting first
for me.

I have at least 30 Pine Siskins at my feeders right now, as well as 6 male
Rose-breasted Grosbeaks and 2-3 females. I can remember years ago when a
Rose-breasted Grosbeak was unheard of up here and we still had lots of
Evening Grosbeaks around.

I also have 2 male and 2 female Baltimore Orioles enjoying my oranges and
grape jelly.
