Hello fellow birders- As you finish up your BBA block or just enjoy those migrating shorebirds...please take a moment to look at your fall calendar. The 2013 Minnesota State Fair will be held 8/22 through 9/2 and we are pleased to announce that the MOU will again host an informational booth at the DNR building. We need YOU to make our booth great. MOU volunteers reach thousands of people during the fair. Volunteering for a shift is fun and a great way to share your enthusiasm about birds and conservation with others. Plus you get to enjoy all that "healthy" State Fair food! The google calendar is all set to go and ALL shifts are currently available. Log In email/name: mouvolunteer Password:ilovemou Those of you who are familiar with the procedure... On you marks...Get set...GO! For those of you who don't enjoy messing around with google calendars please simply email me or Kate Kelnberger and we'll do our best to get you the shifts you request. Sign in using the red button on the right hand side of your screen (name & password are above) 3. Click on the word calendar on the black bar along the top of the screen 4. On the calendar screen you'll be on today's date. Use the arrows to jump ahead to the end of August. 5. Find the shift you'd like and double-click it. 6. Put your name in the box right after the shift title. Ex: Shift 1: Joe Smith & Jane Smith 7. Click save. 8. Log out and you are done.
