There was a Great Egret in the marshes by the New Page mill in Spirit Valley this afternoon (vicinity of I-35 and Hwy 2/Bong Bridge). It was only visible from the Hwy 2 bridge at the time; I was able to get decent looks from the Hwy 2 pedestrian path/bikeway.
