The MOU Education Committee has had a request from Sherburne National
Wildlife Refuge (details below).
If you are interested in helping out at this fun bird-related event please
contact me and I can coordinate getting some of the MOU props to you for
the weekend. It would be nice to have 2-4 volunteers to cover the whole day
so that there would be breaks for birding. Thank you for helping promote
birds, bird conservation and birding. Jen Vieth & Kate Kelnberger

Details:
I would love to have an MOU information booth at our 20th annual fall
wildlife festival, which will be held on Saturday, October 5, from 10:00 a.m.
to
3:00 p.m. Set up at 9:00 am. and booth should stay open until 3:00 p.m.
A tent/awning, table(s) and chair(s) can be provided with reservation, if
the group doesn't have their own. We encourage interactive booths/staffs,
as we get lots of families with children. Our attendance is generally
between 800 and 1500 people, depending on weather and what else might be going
on in the area.
Some interior refuge roads will be open for folks to tour/bird during the
day, and sandhill cranes should be in the area is large numbers as well.
Will be a fun day!
