Western Kingbirds have been scarce in the immediate Fargo-Moorhead area. Normally they are quite common with a few normally nesting in town and they're usually visible on fenceposts along I94 in Clay County, but not this year. Eastern Kingbirds appeared to be present in normal numbers.
