About a dozen of us enjoyed a perfect fall morning walk today at Westwood Nature Center. We saw a total of 30 species including lots of white-throated sparrows, robins, gokdfinches, and pied-billed grebes. Plus a few ruby-crowned kinglets and orange-crowned warblers, 2 blue-headed vireos, and 1 each of fox sparrow, rose-breasted grosbeak, purple finch, and a great-horned owl being mobbed by crows.
