Along the portion of bike trail between the Yacht Club and the Old Hwy 13 crossing in Lilydale Village, there were migrants present this afternoon. Ruby-crowned Kinglets and Yellow-rumped Warblers were plentiful, and there were also at least a couple of Nashvilles. One of them was a male still in breeding plumage; the other's coloration and markings were much more muted. There were likely more, staying quiet and hidden; a Merlin was perched up and scanning, just west of the 35E bridge. Linda Whyte
