While checking on a butterfly population in Goodhue County, 26 Sept, I found
a DOR Common Roughleg on Hwy 56, MP 85, about 2mi ENE Dennison. Feathered
all the way to the toes ! Seemed very early that far south ?

Subject: [mou-net] Randolph Industrial Park, RLHA
Though it seemed early, there was a RLHA hovering persistently over the
open fields in Randolph Industrial Park this afternoon. Laura Coble and i
were treated to spectacular, close views as it circled close, directly
above us. At the north pond, we also stirred up a flock of 24 foraging
shorebirds (possibly SB Dowitchers? curious to know if anyone else saw
them
there today).
