I am not sure if others posted this information. However, I stopped at the Fish and Wildlife overview on Hwy 26 south of Brownsville (Houston County) last Sunday (27th October) and there were the first Tundra Swans there of the season. I believe the USFWS biologist said there were about 500 swans on the river. There were at least that many pelicans and quite a few pintails, mallards, coots, wood ducks and other assorted waterfowl. About 15 Bald Eagles put on quite a show while they harassed some of the waterfowl. I highly recommend making a trip there over the next month. The USFWS has a biologist and scopes on hand over the weekends.
