I went out to find the Long-tailed duck this morning with Bill Tefft but we
were unsuccessful.

Instead we did see
Common Merganser
Common Goldeneye
Bufflehead
Ruddy Duck

Subject: [mou-net] Long-tailed duck at Calhoun

After Conny's tip I zipped out and found the duck near the intersection of
Calhoun parkway and Rose Lane. It was with Common and Hooded Mergansers and
some common Goldeneyes. It was between the floating dock and the shore ice.
As I lingered near my car watching it another car came along, lost control of
their car, and hit the back of my car. For a Minneapolis first, maybe, but a
life first... YES! Be careful though. That section of road was very slippery.
