A Sandhill Crane was found dead on Hannon Lake in St. Louis Park. While it
was discovered on December 12, recent snow fall and tracks indicate that
the bird died on December 11. It was turned into Westwood Hills Nature
Center.

Other area birds include usual winter suspects (i.e. American Black Duck,
Brown Creeper, and Red-breasted Nuthatch).

Good birdin',
