PolyMet Proposed Sulfide Mine Public Hearing
Thursday, January 16th
Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC)
350 Harbor Dr, Duluth, MN 55802
5:00 pm – Open house
6:45 - 10:00 p.m. Formal presentation and public comment period

The time has come to weigh in on PolyMet’s proposed sulfide mine. Please RSVP
here today to attend the public hearing in Duluth on January 16th!

Polymet’s proposed sulfide mining operation threatens Minnesota's water, air,
forests and wild lands. In every other state where this type of sulfide mining
has occurred, the result has been a perfect record of toxic water pollution and
environmental destruction. It’s time for Minnesotans to make their voices heard
and say that 500 years of water pollution is not a good deal for our state.

We can win and protect our clean waters and natural heritage if we build enough
public support - starting here on the Duluth. So please join other concerned
residents and local organizations to have your voice heard. RSVP to let us know
you can make it, and bring a friend!

To learn more about how you can get involved before the hearing, please contact
Ben Cushing at [email protected].
