Though most of the snowy owls in Meeker and Kandiyohi counties appear to have moved...or perished....yesterday, 1/22, Craig Radel found a new bird about 6 miles NE of New London. The bird was seen from 130th st. NE, looking west, south of the intersection with 255th ave. Though this location is only about a mile from a previous sighting, yesterday's bird appeared to show much darker coloration, so is presumed different.
