One of the snowy owls in Ramsey is being tracked with a transmitter by ProjectSnowStorm. There web site can be viewed at www.projectsnowstorm.org. I was unaware of this project until today. Frank Nicoletti from Duluth is a team member and banded this owl. They currently have 11 snowys equipped with transmitters from Minnesota to the east coast. It is very interesting to see the movements of these birds. The Ramsey bird is pretty much staying where it's at since it was banded on January 26. Deanne Endrizzi
