Sighted the Long-tailed Duck with 80 Common Goldeneyes downriver from Sartell a
few miles. Below the Univ. (10th Street) dam. Active in both Stearns and
Sherburne waters, observed some proximal sparring with a Goldeneye. Likely
moving back n' forth between spots...here it may have a richer food source.
Access Stearns side via SCSU campus next to football stadium or Sherburne via
Munsinger Gardens past the greenhouse. mjb
