The following is submitted on behalf of Linda Kellar: Yesterday, 03/03/14, my husband and I drove to the town of Ramsey to look for the snowy owl named "Ramsey" described in the Saturday Star Tribune. It took some time stopping at three different places to ask directions to the COR development area off Hwy 10 and then driving slowly around and around it, but finally we saw a snowy owl sitting on the roof of the Newgate Church! It was being harassed by a crow who actually hit the owl's head a couple of times but then the crow flew off. Ramsey was content to let us gaze on him and take pictures as long as we liked. So beautiful! There was another man there taking photos and he asked us if we had seen the other snowy. We didn't even know there was another snowy. He gave us directions to a communication tower about a mile away. We drove there and did see the second snowy owl. This one was much more heavily marked with black than the first one. It was sitting on top of a utility pole. While we watched, it flew a short distance but then landed back on the same pole. What a day! Linda Kellar
