Yesterday the Purple Martin Association of the Dakotas Board of Directors
decided on the date for the forthcoming 3rd Annual Outdoor Purple Martin
Festival. More details will be made available very soon, but I wanted to
let my fellow birds know, right away, about the date of the festival.
Who: Purple Martin enthusiasts
What: 3rd Annual Outdoor Purple Martin Festival
Where: Grand Forks, North Dakota
When: June 7, 2014 at 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM CDT
Why: The Outdoor Purple Martin Festival will introduce attendees to
Purple Martins and educate them about the ecological benefits of Purple
Martins. Attendees will be able to experience, firsthand, a healthy
environment and nest practices at a thriving breeding colony site. The
event will feature three presentations and seminars, interactive hands-on
activities, practical ideas for prospective and seasoned Purple Martin
landlords, and the Sponsor Recognition Luncheon.
