There were four Northern Hawk Owls in less than 10 miles along US Highway 2 this afternoon. Two were located in St. Louis County, one 4.1 miles and another 4.9 miles (one individual was in this same tree on Friday afternoon) west of Fllodwood. Two were located in Itasca County, one 2.2 miles and another 3.1 miles west of the junction of US 2 and MN 200.
