On both Tuesday & Wednesday I drove Black Dog Road in Burnsville and found 10 species of waterfowl including all Mergansers and flocks of scaup, of which I was only able to ID a few Greaters. there is considerable open water on both the river and the lake and probably more diversity than my quick drive through yielded. I also found a couple of Pelicans that probably overwintered.
