Let's not overlook the importance of gathering information on species found in Audubon-designated IBA's (Important Bird Areas as defined by BirdLife International out of Cambridge, England). Lake Superior and Sax-Zim are both IBA's, and people such as all the bird guides previously mentioned, including Mike Henderson, have valuable information to contribute. I do not believe any of them are engaging in inappropriate behavior as I read the proposed legislation. I look forward to clarification from Don Arnosti.
