Last night and this morning on my ponds: 1] FOY Greater Yellow Leg 2] Bufflehead (2 drakes, 1 hen) 3] Hooded Merganser (pair) 4] Canada Goose - The one interesting tidbit about this goose is that I banded it when it was a gosling, 4 years ago. The original pair had bred on my property for about 5 straight years. I was able to catch the goose and 4 goslings during their molt and place a silver band on them. This spring, this gander and his mate set up territory. I suspect they are nesting on my larger pond, on an island.
