Birding Blitz Field Trips Spend eight hours in the field with recognized birding experts at one of Wisconsin's best birding hotspots. These trips will be a three-quarter speed birdathon, finding as many species as possible, with some bird and natural history education along the way. The $87 registration fee includes a $75 tax-deductible donation to support the Bird Protection Fund. Register online through the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin's Field Trip Program at WisConservation.org. You must become a member of the Foundation to register, which connects you to a host of field trip opportunities each year - 150 trips are being offered in 2014.
