Carver Park Reserve 
Field Trip Report
7:00 - 11:20 am
 
Carver Park Reserve had lots of Warbler and Sparrow activity today.  
Unfortunately some of the more unusual species were heard only.  Here are some 
of the species our group, heard or observed at the park today.
 
Willow Flycatcher
Great Crested Flycatcher
Yellow-throated Vireo
Blue-headed Vireo
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Grey-cheeked Thrush
Swainson's Thrush
Brown Thrasher
Ovenbird
Northern Waterthrush
Golden-winged Warbler - Heard only
Blue-winged Warbler - Heard only
Tennessee Warbler
Orange-crowned Warbler
Nashville Warbler
Connecticut Warbler - Heard only - One was heard by the visitor center parking 
lot at 11:00 am and another was heard along the Tamarack Trail, just West of 
Crosby lake.  Where the trail crosses a stream at about 9:30am.

Lake trail.
