For those who may be interested, I am currently observing an American Bittern at the Bloomington ice gardens. It's located in the marsh east of the back parking lot. It is visible from the parking lot, standing tall and camouflaged in the middle of the reeds on the left side of the pond (as seen from the parking lot).
