Sorry for the short note earlier. Not much of a phone typer. It was a
White-faced Ibis that we saw with the Snowy Egret...not a White Ibis. Also
of interest along that stretch of flooded area we found Hudsonian Godwits,
Short-billed Dowitchers and a Black-bellied Plover, Dunlin. We did see a
distant group of  dark Ibis fly over flooded area and behind trees. We were
unable to relocate those birds.
Earlier we had been to Hok-si-la near Lake City and seen 20 species of
warblers. We ended up at McCarthy Lake with Grasshopper and Lark Sparrow.
Pretty good day we thought.
