Warblers were abundant at Beaver Creek Valley this afternoon with the most
numerous being Am. Redstarts (everywhere you looked), Yellow Warblers and
Magnolias. 10 species in all but few Yellow-Rumps and no Palms. One lone
Blue-Winged sang in the brush at the north end of the main parking lot. There
were a number of Veeries (Veerys?) along the main creek trail and a Wood Thrush
singing right across from the colorful Beaver Creek Valley State Park sign as
you descend into the valley.
