I went down to the Old Cedar Bridge and saw a multitude of warblers and the usual suspects but there were many
Yellow's Bay Breasted Black and White Common Yellow Throats and many I did not identify Phoebes and the Scarlet Tanager, male and female, that my friends had told me was there, was right in the parking lot. A Great Egret was so close to me in the pool just south of the parking lot, it was the first time I actually saw the green on its face and the purpley/blue and yellowy bill. I watched it fish and on the shore line there appeared a Green Back Heron hopping around on the deadwood. I walked partway out to the boardwalk but there was not much activity save the red-wings and a few kingbirds which were sweet to see. this was between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
