The Minnesota Purple Martin Working Group and Three Rivers Park District invite anyone interested in learning about the amazing Purple Martin to attend the 12th annual Martin Fest on Sunday June 15th (9am-2pm) at Baker National Golf Course in Baker Park Reserve (Medina, Hennepin County).
Presentations will include such topics as how to attract martins, types of housing, management techniques and studies on tracking martins during their migration to South America. Three Rivers Park District maintains several martin colonies, including an active colony at Baker Park Reserve.
