During June 8 - 10, saw 3 species that seem to be outside of their range for
this time of year:
American White Pelican - 1 - Hennepin County, Lake Minnetonka (North Arm)
Bufflehead - 1 male - Dakota County, small un-named lake in Eagan
Ruddyduck - 2 males - Dakota County, small un-named lake in Eagan

The range maps show that all 3 species should be in the Twin Cities during
migration only. June 8th through 10th seems to be after migration has ended
for these species. Or is this within the normal timeframe? Have others seen
late migrants?

Some other birds at the Eagan lake within the past week:
Baby Wood Ducks - 14
Hooded Merganser
Orchard Oriole
Baltimore Oriole
Yellow Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Spotted Sandpiper
Sora (heard but not seen)
Northern Flicker
Eastern Kingbird

Location of lake in Eagan:
>From intersection of Lone Oak Rd and Ames Crossing Rd, go about 0.3 miles
North on Ames Crossing Rd to a small un-named lake on the East side of Ames
Crossing Rd.
