As the coordinator of the the Minnesota Ornithologist Union Youth Mentor Program I would like to invite members interested in becoming a Youth Mentor to a workshop. Our objective is to learn from each other and a few new experts. We also want to train new volunteers to the program. We have room for additional members to participate so I hope that you can join us for this event. Jennifer Vieth and Carpenter Nature Center have been kind enough to host this event. MOU YOUTH MENTOR TRAINING WORKSHOP June 17, 2014 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. FREE to MOU Mentors Join other MOU mentors for a day of learning and networking. Learn effective techniques for teaching youth. Experts will share methods for keeping the students, and leaders, safe in the classroom and in the field. Explore options for incorporating technology and MOU teaching tools into your presentation to better engage young learners. Contribute your ideas to the future of the MOU mentor program.
