Had a good day at Itasca State Park and was surprised at the number of
singing warblers and other singing species on territory from 9:00 a.m. to
about 2:00 p.m. Birds were still singing after lunch. Saw or heard 11
species of warblers, most along the trail on northwest side of Lake Itasca.
That is also where the Winter Wren and Hermit Thrush were singing.
