Sought shorebirds with not much around but fun searching.
Roseau Wastewater ponds -
10 or 12 WILSON'S PHALAROPES
1 LESSER YELLOWLEGS
Spotted Sandpipers and Killdeer.
Hooded Mergs with young.
Ag fields/wetlands north and east of there - road 410, 370, etc.
4 MARBLED GODWIT
1 probable White-rumped Sandpiper, but poor looks. It flew down a ditch
before I got scope on it. Size right, white rump, bill length good, etc. ??
Is this too early for them?
12 Sandhill Cranes, many Bobolink, nothing rare.
