This morning Randy Frederickson and I were trying to scour up a Blue Grosbeak in southern Kandiyohi County and instead we ended up finding a Swainson's Hawk circling over a fresh-cut hayfield on the south side of MN Hwy. 7 about 1.5 miles west of U.S. Hwy. 71. It continued circling and flying to the south.
