At least one section of new path is already cleared, along the Bluff Trail, just west of the dike, all the way to the stream that exits a ravine. It's parallel to the shoreline trail, but is about one-third of the way up on the hillside in most places. For the moment at least, it's all dirt, but it's width and grading suggest it's slated for some kind of surfacing. There are some places where erosion-control is apparent. The under-story is more open than before, though that is probably due in part to natural aging and flooding.
