Seen in the wooded area south of the main property, was a mixed wave that included Swainson's Thrush; Blue-headed Vireo and Red-eyed Vireo; many RT Hummingbirds; White-throated and Lincoln's Sparrows; probable Winter Wren; and Black-and-white, Tennessee, Nashville, Orange-crowned, Magnolia, Chestnut-sided, Wilson's, Blackpoll, and Cape May Warblers. Their numbers were not extraordinary, but the variety of species was impressive. They were relatively quiet, and very active in their foraging, even though it was mid-day. LInda Whyte
