Migrant sparrows having been moving in for a week or so. In my yard in East Grand Forks (Polk County), I have had White-throated (70+ last evening), White-crowned, Harris’s, Lincoln’s, and today the first Fox Sparrow of fall. A large flock of Blue Jays arrived this morning. Also seen: Broad-winged Hawks, Pine Siskins, Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, and numbers of Yellow-rumped Warblers jumped over the weekend.
