Yesterday I found a female Eastern Towhee while birding at Robbins Island Park
in Willmar. I
was walking around the edge of the slough in the woods just to the south of the
Robbins
Island Nature Trail at the west end of the park. Specifically I found the bird
at the northwest
corner of the small slough.

Steve Gardner called me around 11:30 this morning to let me know he refound the
Towhee in
the exact same spot.

Other good birds I've seen recently in Kandiyohi County include a single
Black-bellied Plover
and a single American Golden-Plover on Friday at Carlson's Dairy west of
Pennock.
