Hi All-- On Halloween, Erika and I watched interesting Bald Eagle behavior along the Cannon River in Dakota Co. in the Carleton College arboretum. An apparent pair perched in trees over the river until a first-year eagle flew overhead. The pair watched the flying bird. Both birds loudly called. Then the apparent adult female chased the male away and joined the young bird over the river.
