Yesterday 11/25, Jeff Stephenson and I waited from about 10 am until about
2 pm before the Golden-crowned Sparrow arrived at the feeders off 44th Av.
We were joined in our vigil by Dick Miller who only had to wait from 11 am
until 2. During the time frame the birding was very slow save a few
chickadees and a Downy. When the White-throated Sparrow showed up at 12:30
our hopes were up. Also had a single Junco twice. The feeder area was
vacant of birds when the GCSP arrived unannounced (we didnt see it fly in),
and alone. We watched it for about 20 minutes before it disappeared.
