Herb Dingmann called around 8:30 a.m. this morning and asked me to post he had found two White-winged Scoters in the Mississippi River by Sartell, MN just north of St. Cloud.
The birds were in the same general area but not together. Directions: . From Stearns Co Rd 133 (turns in Benton Co Rd 29 if you cross the river) . turn south on Stearns Co Rd 1 and look for a small blue sign that reads Rotary Park. . The road into Rotary Park sloops down 75+ yards down to the river. .
