I had an excellent look at the Eurasian Tree Sparrow at about 1 pm today, along
with several birding friends. It was moving in and out of the full, wide tree
to the left of the feeders as we the viewed it from the road. Despite the
cloudy sky, its white collar, black bib and chestnut brown cap stood out
clearly, and it looked very striking against the green branches. Many thanks
to Drew and all who have made detailed posts! It was a lifer for me.
