January 2, 2014 Ron Erpelding and I were successful in our search for the Townsend's Solitaire previously reported in Todd county. This was on January 2nd at 9:00 am. Ron spotted the bird about 300 yards West of the location that Scott had found the bird on the 1st. There is a small stream at the location we observed the bird, which still had some open water.
