I had been spoiled in recent years with 3 or 4 owls in the area. The population of Snowy Owls this season seems to be one fairly dark youngster. I locate this owl only 1 in 4 of my trips to find it. Most often seen off of 120th Ave and 700th St. This morning it was roosting on the tallest spot in the section east of 120th north of 700th.
