Come and learn how Minnesota can continue on its clean energy path, cutting dangerous carbon pollution and improving our human health and protecting our natural areas. Hear from local leaders such as State Senator Bev Scalze and David Thornton, Assistant Commissioner of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, regarding the state’s Clean Power Plan. Dr. Dale Gentry, University of Northwestern- Saint Paul and Dr. Ken Petersen, Bethel University, will discuss climate impacts of birds and provide reflections on creation care principles. J. Drake Hamilton, Science Policy Director at Fresh Energy, will describe the progress Minnesota has made in growing clean energy jobs that cut carbon and benefit our health, air, and water.
