This evening around 5:30 pm. at Eagle Lake (far west-central McLeod Cty.) there
were 2 White-faced Ibis.
Unfortunately as I returned to my car they flew off to the north.

The Eagle Lake water level has been drawn down significantly, so that this
evening there were at least
600+ Pectoral Sands. (counting loosely by tens), more than 150 Lesser
Yellowlegs, large numbers of Greater
YLegs, a large host of all typical dabbler ducks, about 10 Trumpeter Swans, 1
Bonaparte's Gull (in non-breeding plumage),
and other expected waterfowl.
The only public access is on the north side of this lake, reached by taking
Wells Ave. north from 115th St (CR 89).
