Good assortment of shorebirds at Hamden Slough including Wilson's Phalarope. A flock of White-fronted Geese also at Bisson Lake (north end of refuge). Because of drought, less water and more mud flats in local wetlands. Good for shorebirds but not farmers. Besides Bisson Lake check out South Wetlands across from old refuge HQ. Shorebird viewing should be good next week at DL Festival.
