Against all odds, at least in my book, my neighborhood is hosting a Northern
Harrier. It flew by my deck the other day and then yesterday I watched it
flying about in the woods on the west side of Eagle Lake.

Probably not rare but I have only seen them in open fields and that is not a
common occurrence in this area. There is a lot of marsh and food for it though.

A new lesson for me with birds.
